Id think it might be easier to hit the horn accidentally then a button on the wheel. I've been thinking about modding the cargo light button and use it but still not sure about it.

What happens if you are rolling 35 mph turning and hit the trans brake? I am curious.

I don't know I have ever accidentally hit the horn while driving anything. But like I said not sure it is an ideal way to hold the wheel for a launch.

Well I'm going to have a d3 brake so it will activate in any gear vs a d1 brake where it will only activate in low gear. So I just assume that it would try to apply reverse while driving and tear everything into pieces.

iv thought about mounting a button on steering column cover so it can be reached without taking your hands off the steering wheel

our notch has the TB button on the shifter...its a big ball on shifter with a button on top

my silverado may end up being similar

I really thought about getting one of those shifter handles. Now that I see it I should've bought it. I may end up buying it still. It looks better than what I thought. I have the one just like that but it doesn't have the button.
