Default track time!

Went out to our local track here in edinburg texas to get a base run on my silverado i recently got.. 01 single cab

4.8 has 46,700 miles stock
gears unkown and its a one legger

best run of the night outta two was a 15.9

further mods hpt tune and maybe some bolt-ons..

thanks bro.. found out that night i have 3.42s gonna mod the rear end 1st to see if i can bring it down a couple a tenth or two...

I ran a best of 15.752 out of probably 17 runs down the track. You could probably have the time down a little more with some more passes. Not bad at all though!

yeah i regert not running her more that night to pull off a better time but not a bad base to start with... and man your truck was moving for a 4.8 bro congrats...

Thats good that you got a base line run so you know how well the mods are going improve your times.

15.9 is good for only being a baseline run. It's funny how fast that time will drop once you start modding it.

thanks guys i was thinking about doing a swap but i might just keep this 4.8 till i save up for a nice setup...

i would run the 4.8 for a while add a nice stall long tubes and tune . and posi . then if you ever swap the engine you can still use your bolt ons
