Default Took my 2015 Silverado 4.3 to the track again.

Took my truck up again to the track. This time have a CAI and running e85. Still have the computer cutting back my throttle to as low as 70% during the run but still ran good. Was great weather 57 and no wind. 4wd launch to 2wd manual shifting it. Stock tune pass was back in April 46 out with 93 Octane ran it the same way 4wd launch to 2wd left in drive. Next step getting a pass with 100% throttle the whole pass! Come on 14.99

Stock(93) 60ft. 2.28 1/8 10.33@66.8mph 1/4 16.19@84.1mph

Tune(e85) 60ft. 2.21 1/8 9.84@70.5mph 1/4 15.39@88.8mph

Still not bad for a 5500lbs 4x4 truck with a V6 in it.
3.42 gears and 265/70/R17 for tires btw.

Not bad at all. Just curious, what kind of fuel mileage are you getting? (Stock & modded)

Stock I was getting 17 city and 22 hwy. I would average 19mpg overall. With a 93 Octane tune 18 city and 25 highway. Overall average on 93 after tune 20mpg. Took a 2200 mile road trip from Michigan to Gatlinburg TN, then Gatlinburg to Myrtle Beach SC, and back to Michigan. With going through the mountains and was pretty windy most of the trip I got 24mpg. Now on e85 I get 14 city, 19 highway, and average 15. The extra power and performance I get from the e85 is worth it still though in my eyes.

Damn, drops like a rock on E85. I hope they keep this body style for at least 2-3 more years before any face lifts. I'd like to get a rcsb for a daily in a few years.

Great times for the v6! Pretty sure that's close to what my 5.3 ran stock. Any pics of the truck? Always like seeing the newer body style.....

Here are a few. One after I removed the front air dam, picture how I have my exhaust run, and one of my CAI.
