Default Took the 4.3 silvy to the track

kinda fun and sad at the same time.
05 RCSB silverado 4.3 5 spd.
magnaflow, hypertech, K&N

The best pass was a 16.77@81 mph
I ran 16.9s all day long very consistent

with the stock 3.43s i was barley able to hit 3rd at the end of the run.


cant wait for the v8 swap


just thought i would share...

Kinda what I was thinking for a 4.3 in a heavy fullsize, I know people with 4.8s that run close to that, lol.

they makes some real good cam for the 4.3 try it out go for it see what you can get out of the 4.3

Awsome. I ran a 16.6 back when everything was stock. All I had was a filter and alot of weight tooken off

What size tires you running?

What size tires you running?
he has a 20" wheel, i think the tires are 275/60/20

also, no weight reduction it has a tow hitch, spare, jack, sub, amp... full weight

Hey now, dont hate on the 4.8s.LOL. I think that is a respectable time for the 4.3. Throw in a cam and tune it.That should help out.
