Finally got a night without rain here in Miami but conditions still weren't very good. Lots of headwind and nearly 90 degrees was killing everones time. However, my biggest problem was the amount of wheelhop I was getting at launch. I tried various rpms, traction on and off, just didn't make a difference unless I slowly got on the gas. :dunno:
I think the truck needs drag radials and some headers to get out of the 9's in the 1/8th....

Nope--no AWD...2WD and it really hurt the launch. Guess they didn't really build the Denali for dragracing!

It was funny seeing the look on the guys' face of the Z though. He was quite surprised to see the big black luxo barge pass by him!

 

trust me i have the have same issues. working on that as we speak got the power just wheel hop is a bitch

 

How much do those trucks weigh? Nice run either way.

 

Thanks guys! Gonna leave from idle with lower tire pressure next time and see if that helps...

 

You can't do anything besides suspention work to get rid of the wheel hop. youneed to make some traction bars or install caltracks. Short of this nothing will help the wheel hop besides leaving like a *****.
