How much power do you think it would take to spin all 4?

Well..... I am spinning pretty good off the line. If you guys think I am or not.
Brodradh77,you think caltracs would be better than the dr's? Those Nitto's are, I think, over $300 a piece.

Try some front suspension limiters first. I don't doubt your spinning the front and rear, especially if you're launching with some amount of boost.

I'm about half blind i iguess..I missed the supercharger in your sig..lol

A good set of DR's will run you $250 a piece...You may check out Chases set up 04SSS on here and if your not already a member check out silveradoss.com alot of great info over there as well as here...

With the boost your running along with your set up you may need both..Virgil mean05 ran a 11.8 on street tires to my knowledge but am unsure if he had traction bars or not but the point is he didnt have DR's.

It seamed most of the AWD guys who switched tires for the track mainly did it for wieght reduction versus traction.

That's pretty funny. I just changed my sig. Before it just said "Vortech SC". I figured I should clarify a little bit.

I did check out 04SSS's set up. I was wanting to do one thing at a time. DR's or Caltracs, one now one later.

Then I would start with cal tracs..that should help alot..and then if you need to look a DR's..start with the cheaper route first..cal tracs are about $315-350ish versus 800+ for a set of 4 DR's.

caltracs+front end limiters=good solid traction

Dr's are exspensive and do not last.

Thanks guys
How hard is it to install and adjust Caltracs? Is there only one place to buy them?
Where can I purchase front end limiters?
Any help on this would be appreciated.

Mike

Only 2 weeks to opening day at the track.
I ordered Caltracs a couple of days ago

Would Nitto 420s on a smaller rim help with my traction?
Thanks,
Mike
