seriously though a slightly larger diameter. Higher stall to get off the line better

Perhaps in your 6xxhp truck. You gotta remember this is on a 4.8, it does not have the TQ to move out like alot of other trucks... And my verter is really really damn loose... It is alot looser than scott's CircleD.... I drove his last weekend and i was really surprised how much looser mine is...

then a nice little shot to yank you out of the hole

I could do with a 28" tire myself but I'd have to heat them (4) real good

Ya i have been definately lookin into some nitrous... But i just don't no if i want to go there just yet... I want to get 12's NA without any more major mods... Hopefully once the weather cools off and i do some more fine tuning i will get there... Next couple of times out at the track i am going to work on my timing and AFR at launch to try and squeeze a little more out of the 60ft...

This is really off topic but i am wondering at launch (high load low rpm) if more timing will help the 60ft.. Meaning currently when i launch i see about 24-25* and it slowly ramps up to ~29* at 6700... I am going to play around with launching at 25, 26, 27* to see if it nets a better 60ft...

yes, the 26" will give you a better 60' and e/t, if it hooks which i dont think you'll have a problem, i ran that 26" e/t when i first installed my 6.0 and my 60' was a 1.72

I would do it when i had my 5.3 full bolt ons cam stall, i tried 28s then later tried 26" and got better 60" ft and e.t just make sure it hooks.

I would do the 26 for sure. With your power level you shouldn't have a problem with traction. If anything do a 26 inch drag radial.

Why a drag radial if he's gonna be using it primarily for track time? I'd say a ET Drag in a 26x11.50 on some stock aluminum wheels should get you where you wanna be. Don't be afraid to spin it up

And if it forces you to shift out, force feed it with a 100 shot or so LOL... The shortest tire you can get to hook is almost better in every case.
