Got mine apart, and ended up not huring it to terribly bad. Its going to need a couple valves, and a freshen up; but I dont have any big carnage pictures to post. Looks like the fuel got low and got some air in the lines; went lean and melted a plug. The debree from that got the valves. Its my fault for not keeping better track on how much gas it was using running the 1/4 Im use to running 1/8ths and let it slip my mind I guess.......wont happen again.
casey, i take it you pulled the heads, did you check the piston to see if you hit the tops with the valves? just curious to see if you may have floated the valves? this happened to me a few weeks or so ago. just wondering, sorry to hear about the issue just thank god its an issue not a total rebuild!!
