Default Are these times to be expected from a Ported TB change?

Went to the track last night for the first time in my 2006 Z-71 4X4 silvy 5.3 with 3.42 gears and big old 20" heavy wheels and it has a K&N stock tune
with another Pros ported tb i ran 15.75 @ 86mph which i thought was decent so i backed it up with a 15.76 same mph
then i put in my ported 75mm tb and knocked my 60ft from 2.42 down to 2.300 and ran 15.422 @ 87.9mph
I was pretty happy with that for cruddy gears and being pretty much stock, are these descent times for this truck? 4725 rw
Reason for racing is getting a baseline for when i put my new motor in in a couple weeks 383 baby!!!!!

I was hooked up real good, been racing a long time just this is my first time racing my dd, what I did notice after tb change is it pulled a lot harder off the line and wayyy better throttle response, on my 4th pass I spun pretty hard and still ran 15.51 @ 88 this is a rcsb, what's normal et for these? Thanks

If I can run .338 quicker, w/. only a ported TB, soon as my FLT L7 is in, I'll ride the HD, even in the rain, just while I wait for TB mod. Unless it's an exchange. Assuming most things like weather, DA, & traction were similiar.

Cause they can't cost too much.

Overal i tested these with in 10 minutes of each other and temps were the same, actually i had more heat in the later passes
I have also bypassed sending coolant through the TB fwiw.
What i do know is the Nicely Done Ported TB i did Makes a World of difference in the low end torque!
I also realize i need more data, it was interesting though with the Ported TB i went from 10.19 in the 1/8th to 9.93, Take it FWIW
And i need a tune Big time, at part throttle its shifting too early and the relaxed position of the throttle blade needs to be adjusted but i will just wait till i get the 383 in there, FWIW ive been racing and crewin for 17+ years in cars as fast as 9's, i know when i am spinning on launch especuially in a slow azz truck that squeels like a pig at the slightest wheel spin LOL

well with all that "racing and crewin for 17+years" you should already know that for every tenth dropped in the 60'= two tenths in the 1/4. So your better time was achieved in the 60' imo. since everybodys opinion is different, it makes it hard to determine how the gains were made being so minimal..

also hope your not planning on putting that TB on your 383 are you..?

yes i realize that, guess i didnt explain my overall opinion. I think he finally just got used to launching it and cut a better 60' in general. Whether the TB did it or not i guess is his opinion..
