I do remember that a few weeks before it ran 10.46 @ 126, I had it running 10.90's @ 126. I don't have the log anymore, but the it flung the water pump pulley off of it on the 10.46 pass and I remember this being the reason it only trapped 126 again. For the life of me, I can not remember where on the track the belt came off of it. I wanna say it was around 1000' but I really don't remember.

This does have me intrigued though, so I have been grinding numbers through the old calculator. At 4175 lbs, I'm thinking my truck would have run somewhere around 10.teens and 132 mph.

**** man, I want another truck now. lol
You have your own title, but at this time Kurt has the D1 title.

Travis based on your 1/8 mile speed, it seems you MAYBE lose your water pump 100' from the finish line and thats being generous. It takes an amazingly drastic thing to happen that late in a run to effect a time bu as much as .2 seconds and your trap speed is maybe a single MPH low, maybe. I don't think you would have had 10.teens on that run had nothing happened. Kurt has a 3 MPH advantage in the 1/8th trap speed for reference.

The other thing to keep in mind... this was his only 1/4 mile pass of the day and its been his only clean run since the truck was last changed. As I mentioned before... 10.45 wont stand long and look for speeds upwards of 135 MPH.

Man, thats entirely possible. Who knows.....any of it is speculation at this point. Glad to see you guys getting after it and pushing forward. I wish others would do the same. I'm a procharger fanatic if you haven't noticed.

Also, I think you miss-read my comment. I wasn't saying it had a 10.teen in it that day and I certainly agree with you that it did not.

What I was saying is that at 4175lb I think mine would have ran 10.teens at 130+ with the tune up I had in it that day.

I just saw this. Nice work Kurt. Should have called me, I would have gone up there too. And NED HAD to have been pissed at you for that time and no cage, haha.

Since we're talking about weight you think that your set up on a single cab with that weight would be faster than this D1? Not taking nothing away from Kurt at all just wondering if that 1900 makes more power than a D1.

Quite a while back I went on this kick wondering if I could get a 2300 in the low 10's high 9' in a full weight. I remember Joe build a 2300 deal that made a grand on an engine dyno.

New thread is needed for that, agreed! I will say with a high level of confidence that the 1900 wont outgun a properly set up D1. A 2300... that could be up for discussion. The thing to remember though is that an F1 is a very easy swap...
