Made 1 pass today at atco and didnt do much better.11.23@118.41 1.62 60'
Im crossing the traps at 5200 so I need alot more gear and my converter is way to tight and my new 1050 carb will be hear thursday.its never going to hit the tens the way it is.To many cars today for the $$$ shootouts,we waited over 3 hours for 1 run.I'll try to get my converter loosend up from 3000 to 4000 or 4500 and the carb ad far as the gears that will be next year.a friend is sending me a video and I'll post it up.

Great 1/8 mile mph, and even faster with the stall\gears...hell yeah.

What size tire on rear,,,26 or 28 ?

I'm going thru traps at roughly 6200 rpm with a 28" tire\410 gear

more converter and sum gear should definitely get you down into the 10's. its pulling a good 1/8th and mph to be on a tight converter!!

I have a 28" drag radial on now.my 456's will be in the truck by friday and new carb. It pulls hard from 20' out to when I shift high gear then just lays there.the gears should wake my stall up and carb should wake my engine up.

A custom 3500 10" but when I had it built back in Aug. my cam was much smaller and I still had the 8.5 to 1 454 also I told them I would be spraying my truck . Now it a totaly different setup and no spray.at 2800 rpm it's pushing the truck.I know the gears will help the converter alot so I might be alright.
