I've not been able to hook at all before with different vehicles and had a higher trap with a slower ET than a previous run. I just figured that I was up in the power band and made more average horsepower for that specific run.

Tire pressure is not it. Truck was hooking fine, even when I ran it. There's something with your 60's. Mph is there, if feels good after the takeoff but not coming off the line. Last July mine was hitting 13.2's with 1.84/1.83 60's at 100mph and no pulley, so from high 1.8's to low 1.8's there's another 10th for you. Just my 2 cents. Overall, truck's running up to par. Just have to find the sweet spot on the lauch.

Totally agree with La Cuerva on this one.

i know if you spin off the line you will run more mhp, than if you dry hook with the same day same truck.
on a dry hook run with you not holding nothing back on the starting line you will run faster et and slower mhp if you spin just a little your et will drop and the mhp will go up.
i was told by other older racers that it is due to when you spin then hook up the motor is in a different power band (different rpm range) and most of the time it will be in a higher rpm so you cross at a higher rpm.
hope this helps

in the best DA and the worst DA i've ran the same mph, mph is your hp rating, now with better or worse DA it will change your times.

like this 89*104mph
...........59*104mph
