Went to the track last night and got disappointed couldn't get out of the 9s in the 1/8th. I tried running my truck in drive and manual shifting it from 1st my question is it felt a lot stronger manual shifting but it spun way too much. How do yall run ur trucks just in drive or manual shift ur truck

 

Just put it in drive manual shifting is slower and harder on the transmission

 

I have had better times manually shifting....imo. but have heard people leave it in 3rd gear also...so I guess depending on what your truck likes

 

I leave it in Drive...the computer knows exactly when to shift.
