I had a blast at the shootout. Ran an 11.3 right off the trailer Friday night. Only time I have ever been trailered, but kyle offered and it beats driving alone. Got a 11.2 later that night. At the shootout there was a fast, middle and slightly slower class of heads up racing. I somehow won the middle class and recieved my first ever award of any kind for racing. I bested last years time by over a second!. I would like to thank GOD for keeping us all safe. I would also like to thank my wife, Kyle at KBracing, Jonathan (Nonnie), Blue4.8 "Kyle", Jake's performance, and anyone else who has helped me along and wondering why their name is not listed. OH yea, And Jason brickrocket for putting the event on! This truck is not near done. Cam , dual springs, pushrods and HSW plate n2o kit are awaiting install. Thanks for looking!

Congrats, it sounds like everyone had a good time. What did you do different between your first and 2nd run? Your first run trapped the fastest speed with the worst 60', and slowest 1/8. That thing has 10's in it for sure once you get everything working together.

 

Only thing I can figure is that run was a cold off the trailer run with no heat soak at all...

 

Sweet times for the first time out! My first time out I ran 12.2 I was pissed but the next week got in the 6's lol. How much meth and boost you running? Oh and seems like you got pretty good weight transfer, what u got besides those traction bars I see?
