What rpm you guys turning at the end of the 1/4 mile.. Im debating on going to 4.88 gears as i have 4.56s now and i really like these. only turn 2400 on the highway..4.88s should be around 2600 on the highway.. just would like to know what rpm you guys run at the end of the track. i would like to be above 6000 at the end..

 

i got 4.10's w/ 28" tire.
on motor i cross at 5800 and on the 75 shot i cross at 6100.

i'm wanting to try out a 29.5" tire though and spray out the hole.

 

hell i guess thats higher than i thought.. looks like im just gonna have to try the 4.56s out first

 

4.10 here, 29.5 tire cross the traps at 7300

 

28 inch tire, crossing about 6k in 3rd

 

the 4.56 will be fine what tire are you running? i ran 26" dr's with 4.56 with my first set up cam 5.3 with all boltons and i got a 1.64 60'.you willl need to do some sup.mods to get it to hook.
like no sway bar.i drilled the front shocks,get you some v6 rear springs(i think it is the one with the blue lable),and lightn it up a little.

 

28x10x15 hoosiers. i have no sway bar.
