Never thought I would be considering a roll bar/cage but I am now. I've been searching for pics but they are few and far between. Anyone have a link to turbomics rollbar. I want something similar.

Wow, old thread. Funny I was considering this back in 2007, just got in done in 2010. Time hauls more *** than my truck!

You'll probably have better luck pm'ing mic over on ls1truck.com. Thats primarily where he hangs out. Just beware that unless he's added more bars, his set up is no more legal at the track than no cage at all. Kind of pointless in my opinion.

your in this deep with the truck now, so you should just cage it. I took the plunge and have never regretted it. Plus it is way more safe now than it was before.

You must not look at the projects section much. Take a peak.

(not trying to be a dick, I think it came out that way)

I knew a guy a few years back with a SS454 in the 8's that made alot of mags. anyway he checked the rules and found that he could run removeable rear bars from the loop to the bed.he had hiem joints with grade 8 bolts on both ends.so on the street he would take them off.hope this helps.

You'd still have to install a lexan rear window unless you went through the top of the cab. Either way, are you gonna drive around on the street with two big *** holes in your window or cab? Doesn't seem worth it to me.
