Roll Cage
#32
Just run the 1/8th and let off and on the last pass give it all she has.
Or you can go to the track in sealy and run the 1/4. They don't care, few guys on hpd go there and are in the 9s and no cage...
Only way I'd do it if you have money to burn and want that truck as an all out drag truck!

I spent a good amount of time trying to figure out a way around the rear bars, the only way to not have rear bars and be legal is to do a funny car spec cage, which kinda defeats the purpose. So for at least next year, I'm just not gonna run a rollbar. I can slow it down to keep it above 11.5 n/a (shooting for low 11's on the motor), and then when I want to spray I'll just save it for the last run of the day. Next winter I might look at doing a rollbar, but I really don't want one.
Luckily, I can run at my local 1/8th mile track with no bar, they don't care

Well, I went to the chassis shop last Saturday. Talked about options for a cage, Ford 9" w/ladder bar set-up, 5-lug conversion possiblities, and some custom front suspension pieces to drop some weight off the front end. I was overwhelmed and I could have easily racked up about a $15,000.00 bill. Anyway, I haven't decided what exactly I want to do yet. Just thought I would let ya'll know.
