i pulled the same 60's with my old 4.8, 3K stall, and 3.23 open diff.
only difference was it didnt have enough power to spin
seriously though, with some DOT's and the locker/4.11 setup, 8's shouldnt be a problem for you at all... maybe 8.70's or so with stickys and a good TC flash off the line.

My RCSB v6 silverado ran 10.5 in the 1/8th with a K&N filter, and exhaust cutout. 60 foot was a 2.3 do to spinning.
Is that good for a v6?
I would like to see what I can get now. WIth all the stuff I put in it since then, I hope to get in the 9's. (1/8th)

i think the general rule of thumb is whatever you save on the 60' should more than double on the big end, in the 1/4 mile.
i am not sure how much the ratio would be in the 1/8th.. i will figure it out soon though!

I hope you guys are right. My truetrac came in today so now I just need to find a good price on some 4.10s and find someone up here who can install it all since I don't feel like spending the money on tools I'll use 1 time.
