Default proof with ls6 intake

I recently swapped the ls1 out for the ls6 intake after running the 12.904 @ 101.75 a few weekends ago and i had a tad bit better weather not much though. I went 12.66 @ 103.56 with a 1.73 - 60'. With both of these times i had 1/2 tank of gas and tailgate on just open. Now i need to get a pulley and front runners and hope for high 12.4x's or with a little worse weather a 12.5x. So i gained 2 tenths and almost 2mph on average. cant wait to see what it does with a good set of heads either

do you know the DA differences between the two nights? that was only a .81 gain in MPH..not 2. was traction an issue on the first night? what was the 60' on the 12.9.

i tried swapping off my front 18" wheels with 285/50-18 tires for some factory 17's with a 245 series tire as a front runner and gained absolutely nothing. just throwin that out there for your info.

congrats on the new times!

i dont remember the exact numbers for the DA but i know they were high 400's and mid 600's this time being the 400's. i know my best time had only .81 difference but the others range from .81 to 1.7!!! Traction wanst an issue at all the 12.90 run was on a 1.78 - 60' dead hook and this one was a 1.73 - 60' dead hook. like i said weather only affected about .1 give or take. And your front wheels probably dont weigh in at 80# each and 9" of tread width. i had three hotlaps for the street class to get an average and first run it spun 1.88 60' 12.92 next was 1.74 60' 12.74 lastly was 1.73 60' 12.66 all were in the 103 almost 104 mph. so im hoping to get close to .2 maybe closer to 1.5 from bogart fronts and UD pulley.

great times, the UD pulley should put you in the low 12.5's if not 12.4, instead of the bogarts, I would put the money on some nice heads... but thats just me...
