I was supprised myself. My son Sport Side set it up (post #17). Maybe he will get back on and say what he did. I know he lowered it by changing the springs and added the QA1 shocks. We also took the bed off and I adjusted the bars exact with the axle square to the frame. It was about a half inch out of wack.
How about it Sport Side...cough it up for the boys !!! What springs did you put on this thing ???

if you really can get down to a 11.1/2 that would be awesome. i'm stuck in the 11.5 range (11.49 best) but i'm in process of swapping cam/headers. 11.2 would be the point where i'd stop and then start test and tuning with n20.
i imagine spray is next on your list? what do you have lined up for that? direct port?

Just got in the skinny's. 4" steel Rim weighs close to 21 lbs and the tires 16.5 lbs. That is a savings of 20 lbs per wheel plus a 2/3 less friction from tire width.
I'm gonna change to the skinny's, pull the front bumper, sway bar and add the 12" slicks. Add in some cold air and it should Rock !!
I figure about 220-250 lb weight loss off the nose if you add the alu block to the formula.

My son, Sport Side in post #17 has a dry shot kit he ran on the old setup. I presume he still has bottle and blanket as well.

Just got the skinny's mounted. The rims required a little grinding on the calipers. Not much though. Waiting on the slickes to arrive tomorrow. If they don't come I may have to hit Valdosta next Saturday.
Front bumper and sway bar are off.

The tracking number says they were left on my doorstep...one this morning and one at 5:30pm (now that is planning). No truck came down this raod. They are trying to locate them now !!
