who's gonna know? unless you open purge or something opposed to just purging in your engine bay or giving a quick squirt in the burn out

well at the track i race at they are pretty strict, they have you pop your hood ask what your running all that before you get your run card in the tech booth so i dont want to go and be assed out.

correct...but they haven't said anything to me about it.

The first time I pulled up in the tahoe, he laughed and asked "are you racing in this?" They've never even looked under my hood.

weird hrp is real strict also but they havent told me to use a jacket yet, they really harp on the damn helmet though, last week went out and got me a simmons full face racing helmet.. make sure it has the 2000 or 2005 standard.. after i get my truck tuned this week at uprev in austin i should be low 14's on motor and low 13's on the juice.. hopefully some cams will come out sonn i want 13's on motor

They never looked at me closely before either, who'd thunk a big assed truck would be a concern? lol
I'm gonna order one from summit, they run about $65.

I was told back in March when I went to the track that if you have any power adder thats "not factory" requires you to wear a fire jacket. He said it was a new for '06 rule. He let me off at the time, but he said he would easily remember my truck and if I didn't have one then...game over.

The rule I'm confused about is the new helmet standards and the whole open face vs. full faced debate. When do you need a full faced? Is a Snell 2000 outdated? I think it's all based on how your local tech guy interprets it.
