New times from yesterday
#1
Went to the Ford vs Chevy shootout yesterday and decided to run the truck. Full weight at 5300 pounds, 95 degree temps, 22's.
60' - 2.07 on 22" street tires
1/4 - 13.602
mph - 105.21
Im a bit puzzled by the mph and the et. I would think that I would be in the lower part of the 13's.

That 6.0 caddy silverado was running 14.05 at around 93 ish with a mostly stock 6.0. He had only a tb stall, long tubes, no cats, and an intake system with a mail order tune. It was a 4wd too.

I think it is the first gear of the 80e hurting me. That and the extreme weight of the truck with the 22's and all.

Just sucks.. I was thinking that a 105+mph trap speed would net be a better time.
I think it may partly be the tuning. My intake temps had to be up around 180-190 degrees. The tuner is only running like 11 degrees of timing when the IAT's get past 150 degrees.
Is 8 degrees of timing a lot to be taken out when the temps rise? Outside temp was between 90-95.
