Good job on the times.
What was your best 60 and with what launch?
I agree. Best 60' was 2.06 secs launching at about 1200 rpm. It just won't stick with more than that.

I have some 16" stockers I'm about to dress out with some 28" tall M&H drag radials. I hope they get me about .2 seconds in the quarter.

When I ran the 29.5 e/t drags they seemed like too much. How are you doing it for tuning? Cause I got the tuning done for my stock 20s and at the track the 26"s or 28"s will throw it off wont they? I am trying 26x10.50x16 et streets and 28x10.50x15 et streets on the same day and see what works better. It wont be till spring though.

I have used the 26" tall drag radials on my 16" stockers before with any changes to my shift points and loved the way they performed. The speedo was wacked out, but they only saw the track. With my 31.9" tall 20s I'm shifting into 3rd about 200' from the finish line. With the 26" drag radials I shifted into 3rd well before that and was getting better trap speeds. I want to try the 28" tall tires to see how I like them. I don't plan to change any tuning.

other than your speedometer reading wrong it'll be ok and I believe you will be shifting into 3rd on the track way before also, I dont think 16's fit your truck though??? I could be wrong??

Good luck on the 28"s, I will be keeping up with your progress. I think you have a hell of a street truck and hope mine performs something close to it.

The speedo doesnt really bother me at all for track use. Jesse @ Wait4Me told me my shift points would be way out of wack. He suggested I shift manually with any other tire size other than stock. I really am ready to give up on Jesse and switch over to Nelson. I am going to wait till spring that way I can send Nelson my stock tune and keep the Wait4Me tune and do a track comparison with the two.

I tried joejoe's 29.5"s mounted on 15x10 wheels and I thought they wouldn't fit either. Not a problem. Having the drums out back, I was able to go smaller. I heard I cant put 16's up front though, but I havent tried it yet.

so with some 26" tires you should shift manually??? if so then, as far as you should manually shift at the same RPM's??? well that may be it then about the 16's fitting in your truck.... I thought they didnt fit all the way around...

I've had the 16s on all the way around a couple of times. They fit fine. 15s are a different story. I hear you have to do some grinding to get them to fit the '04s.

your speedo will be off but if tuned properly then it should shift by rpm, I just leave it in drive and floor it lol
