Default New Times--Baby Cam,Street run as well

Well i made it out to the track tonight. Not the best night to go but owell at least i got some times on the new motor.
DLH2006 -Derek,NickRebel - Nick,DarkNight - Jeremy and myself headed out.
Only Derek and i ran.Derek was pulling roughly 3-4mph less than he did at the GTG so the weather was for sure not helping anybody.
Anyway once the video is ready from streetfire i'll post it up.
Got some track runs, however you can't really see the times too well as i think Jeremy and Nick were to far away and when he zoomed in it just got blury...
Derek and i also did two roll races. He freaking has top end speed i mean DAMN!!!
Both races were roughly 65-70 and lasted to about 120-125.

The truck ran a 13.7@99mph
I think with better weather and a good tune....as if you have talked to me my tune leaves ALOT to be desired at this point...but i think with a good tune and good weather i can get that time down at least 3-4 tenths.
We shall see.
I also need a 3000 stall this 2600 just isn't getting me out the hole fast enough.

I'm the left lane....i lost to a damn Mustang!!!!!!Lol.
I'll post the video once it is ready!!!!

13.7 is nothing to sneeze at! Good times, get that tune nailed and drop a bit more.
BTW 13.3 is damn fast for a Mustang. He was FI or N2O for sure!

Good job! I don't care what some people say, 13's is quick for a pickup.

Trever, Mustangs commonly run 12's on motor. Why assume he was using a power adder to run low 13's? I mean, it's a roughly 3,300 lb car with a V8. It just doesn't take much for 13's. Besides, you know little or nothing of that car, and probably Mustangs in general beyond what you read. Looking at the 104mph on that run, I'd think he may have nitrous. Then I see his 1.99 short time and think, probably not. I don't want to give undue credit to Mustangs, but they are what they are. As I've said a thousand times, you can't simply expect to outrun them all... Some have good drivers. Some are just plain quick. It's not the most widely raced American car because it's incapable. That's not why we rag on 'em constantly either, or find so many excuses for why they win races.

The Mustangs I run at the track with are generally 14 second cars. The Blown but otherwise fairly stock cars run high 12's-mid 13's. I have watched quite a few of them run
I'm not dissing the Mustang, I actually like the body style.

But you're correct, I wasn't there and could hardly know for sure

Let me put it this way. For all you know, that Mustang might have a 347 stroker under the hood...

It just isn't normal to assume that a Mustang running low 13's MUST have a power adder. Sure, that's an easy way to get there, but it isn't so hard to run even 12's without one, particularly if it has a 4V engine.
