Talking new times!

last night went to the track and i hit a 14.7 with the 20s all around...second run i had slicks and hit the same....third time i hit a 14.6...were the slicks too big for my truck? there 28x10.5
mods:tune,intake,pulley,tbspacer, and vette servo

naww its just slow out of the hole, what were the 60's on the runs from stock 20s to slicks, did you even spin on the stock tires? If not then the slicks wont help untill you spin off the line. Nice times either way.

i think 2.2 around there and when i ran with the 20s i only stalled at 1100 and didnt spin but then when i stalled at around 1700 it would spin alot!! but i didnt stall high with the slicks either probly around 1400

Unless you have a tuning issue there is no reason to bring it up on the converter that hard. The slick's shouldn't gain you anything other than being short. A truck running in the mid to high 14's doesn't need slicks on it.

well mine did....it would spin with the 20s and i would have to let off

I put some 26x11.50-15 et streets on mine and picked up a lot over the 20's. The shorter tire height and the wheel weight itself is good for a couple of tenths.

28's are too big of a slick for your 5.3 plus bolt ons
