Well, it did not do as well as expected.. . I was hoping to break into the 13's but didn't. It did almost 2 tenths better with the 7lb pulley making a best of 14.10 @94mph. The crazy part is i pulled a 1.90 60' time, which i thought was damn good for this big truck on a night like tonight. It was a little humid and about 73* as well. A little cooler and i think i might have hit it. Now the saving starts, I am going to either get the W2A Intercooler or the meth injection, not sure which yet, but that is the plan. A 14.10 ET is not all that bad for this truck i suppose, i just want that 13!! LOL.

 

Looks pretty good, I'd be happy with that 60'! I'm sure 13's are 'round the corner for you.

 

Thanks, just waiting on that I/C to pop up on Ebay. Its crazy that no one has a used whipple I/C for sale. I wish i could find one. I know this thing would really perk up with some cooler AIT's. I see guys with 1.90 60' times running low 13's. No way to really liven up the top end of this thing without ripping it open. Those Raylar heads and intake look sweet, but $5000 is a little steep right now...

 

I cant believe i forgot to mention it, the absolute highlight of the night for me was the fact that i beat 2 mustangs!! The second race i lined up next to a ninety something mustang 5.0 with that "here comes a mustang" exhaust bellowing out the back. He was a punk that seems annoyed that he even had to race a truck at all (must have been bone stock i assume). I will spare you all the "hell yes" feelings i had about it and just say he ran a 14.8 and i ran a 14.3 with a 1.93 60' on that one. Killed him off the line and he caught up to about a half a truck length by the end and would have surely passed me in another 500' or so, but the time slip read the bad news for him either way... . He pulled off at the first turn around at the end of the track and never even looked over at me...LMAO, i loved it! After he got his timeslip he just pulled into the parking lot, didnt even pull back into the staging lanes, he must have been pissed.

The other mustang kill was not as sweet though. It was a new 2006, but it was a six banger, not the V-8. He ran a 15.6, wasnt even close on that one...although he was a much cooler guy than the first one...he pulled back in and we talked for a little while in the lanes, nice guy. I am still pissed my brother didnt go with me to get them on video, that would have beed a sweet to have. I think i will post this in the "kills" forum too, thats how happy i am about it..LOL
