Default New personal best! Wow...! 13.485 @ 98.66 mph

Each time I go to the track, I'm more and more impressed with this damn truck. My previous best was a 13.802 @ 98.03 with about a 1600' DA.

Well last night, the weather was in the 50s, and I decided to try to better that time. Drove an hour to the track, get there, and nothing. Just dark. So my buddy and I decide to drive an hour north to another track. Get there, and it's so windy that they're only running 1/8 mile.

Made three passes, all of which were in the 8.65 @ 79 range, and I finally got a sub-1.9 60' (1.888 to be exact).

I wasn't satisfied with that, so I went back again today. Luckily, we were able to run the full 1/4 mile, and I got 4 passes in.

Run 1: Truck was never even shut off, just pulled right through the staging lanes and up to the line.

60' - 1.911
1/8 - 8.709
1/8 mph - 79.50
1/4 - 13.654
1/4 mph - 98.15

At this point, this was a new best.

Run 2: Got a chance to let the truck cool down this time.

60' - 1.864
1/8 - 8.569
1/8 mph - 80.14
1/4 - 13.485
1/4 mph - 98.66

The other 2 runs were a 13.500 @98.64 and another hot 13.65 @ 98.61.

I still can't ******* believe this fat pig of a truck is cutting 1.8xx 60' times, and will run below a 13.5. My goal with the build was 14.3s, so I'm beyond ecstatic with the results (and I'm still only running an 87 octane tune, and I've got some exhaust issues).

Videos will come later, along with scans of the timeslips.

That's awesome! Great 60'! Those are the times i was hoping to run with my truck last wednesday. Unfortunately, i've been having some issues with it cutting up around 5900+ rpm. I need a live tune bad!

They were just closed. I think they were supposed to be running an 8.50 class or something, but it was too windy.
