You just got the trans back & you're already beating on it?

Of course!! But I did break in the converter for 150 miles, then about a week's worth of driving it around, plus some time tuning.
How much of that improvement do u think was helped by the tune?
Ummm, I'm not smart enough to answer that.
I think it would go 12's for sure. The Leer is what 200#? Toolbox & contents 50-100? Subs/ amps/ backseat 50-75? Skidplates, well I'm 2wd.
The factory hitch is 50-70#, I know I wrote it down somewhere. All that's gotta be 200# or more. Say it's 350#. That'd be 12.8s. I know when I took off my Snugtop, tools & stuff, it was almost pond for pound shown in the times.
12.8's would make me very very happy.
If u ran headers & catback, I'd think that alone would help that puppy breathe enuff to see an improvement since it's more beneficial on a S/C unlike a turbo needin backpressure.
The headers and better exhaust are in the truck's plans, but not this year, and not this setup. Once this setup runs 12's thru the stock manifolds & cats(someone said it can't be done), then this setup will be going into our Yukon.
Ever try a 2wd launch? Or ...
Go get some slicks.
I did that once last year, it wasn't pretty at all.
I'm looking to borrow a set of slicks locally, but so far there haven't been any takers. Besides, every time I mention slicks for my truck on this site, I get reminded that I'm 4x4 and don't need them. However, I know there's considerably more power lost thru the drivetrain in 4x4, not to mention the bindup at the big end of the track.
You're leavin a lot on the table.
Maybe I am, but at least it's installed on the truck, not under my bed for several years.
You need to get 1 of those Trick spacer/ IC & let us know the results.

Very nice gains Roger!!!
