The last time I went to the track was few months back and the truck ran a best of 14.008 at 100.8. My mods were 4.8, SDPC ht1 cam, BTR duals, stock 3.42s, on 20's and 4.5lbs of boost running through a 2 1/2 flowmaster exhaust, and turbonetics 62-1 turbo.

I have since turned up the boost to 9lbs, detroit trutrac, 3.90 gears, built trans with 3600 converter and bolted on a set of racestar wheels with M&H 390's out back and added a 4" exhaust. Well I think it did damn good for leaving 1500 rpm and letting flash without boost launching it and a baby turbo choking it up top. Truck is full weight, hitch, subs, amp etc. Its fully loaded with turn signal mirrors etc. I will be getting another 70mm shortly and turning it up to 12lbs. looking to run 7.60s and high 11's. I actually think with a boost launch its got 7.60s in it now. How much could I possibly pickup going up to the 70mm? It just feels like its falling on its face in 3rd right now. The DA was 1260ft, so I guess corrected it was 12.24 at 108.4.

Thanks Oakley. Hows vegas? We have never talked, but I lived out there for awhile and attended the test n tunes out in vegas often in my old crew cab back in 06-07 time frame. I worked for Lennar homes out there. Im originally from Lake Havasu. Your truck is coming together nicely, good luck with it man.

 

Oh cool, I just went and looked at a Lennar home two weeks ago for my mom. Its still hot here in Las Vegas but not unbearable anymore. I'll keep an eye on your truck. Always nice to see someone else going fast with similar combos.
