The previous best with the ls6 cam and stock convter was 13.4@102 but that was a freak pass usualy stayed in the 13.8-13.9 range. The new set up with the bigger cam and converter paid off. 12.97@103.92 The truck went 13.0-12.9 all day so I guess I am happy. Now I just need to get some bottle numbers on the new build.

 

what cam/converter did you go from, then with?

 

224/228 cam and 3200 converter I'm still runing the stock 60e though.

 

Those are good times, what shot will you be running later? I want to do a nitrous setup, but I want to save for a plate...I'll start small at 75, see what happens and go from there

150 it went 11.66@116.9 with the ls6 cam and stock converter on the same shot size. I'm hoping to see 11.40 ish with the new set up. It is more set up to run on bottle not motor.

 

Thanks man it turned 1.86-1.83's all day the converter I have is very tight and more set up for nitrous than motor. It only stalled to 2500 with out turning the tires over and flashed to 2800 or so. I'm hoping for more on bottle.

cant believe you swapped cams the LS6 did good for you

 

It did but I got the cam for free from a friend who was putting a ProCharger on his CTS-V and wanted a blower cam. I am glad I did the swap though it has picked up a good bit and sounds sooooo much more agressive. I get so crazy looks when I pull up with the truck now.
