it is no where near as responsive as 4.8/369 combo. It is not terrible lag, but other set up was all in much quicker. A good example, 4.8/369 on 2 step at 3500 rpm, you could start building boost when first bulb dropped and hit 8lbs by the time 3rd bulb lit, launch at 8-9lbs, gates would open at 15-18lbs while you were still passing the tree. 5.3/75mm big turbine and 1.32 AR, took 4.5 seconds to build 6lbs on 3700 2 step, gates open at 15 psi 60-100 feet out. Both combos on same boost level, 4.8 had 3 more degrees of timing. 4.8 went 1.50 60ft 6.61 at 104.3 in -750-1000ft DA, 5.3 1.52 60ft 6.52 at 106.5 in +1000ft. 4.8/369 was quick for what it was.

Thanks for the info, sounds like a pretty significant difference. How about on the street? If you don’t brake boost it from a stop, how long does it take to get into boost? How was that with the 4.8 s369 combo?

4.8/369 would destroy tires from stop. This combo gets out aways then takes off. Both combos killed tires from 60 roll on radials if brake boosted a little.

that’s crazy to hear. Mine is quite the opposite. IF I don’t brake boost it, it’s takes 3-4 seconds before it builds any... then it takes off like you would expect. I have a 3200 stall as well. I’ve been thinking of swapping the 4.8 for a l33. Thanks for all the info on your build, it’s been fun watching your progress! Sounds like 9s are in your near future!
