Those times are incredible! I would like to see you continue to make changes one at a time.

I'll sticl to my guns here... a Yank PT2800 or a similar 258mm that is built nearly as tight as they can be would add great performance off the line and still drive with good manners. Then I would like to see a cam that lets this monster breathe a little better while keeping great bottom torque.

The problem with that is you will want to pulley down and then your procharger bracket can become an issue. They flex and will start to give you belt issues. Most go dedicated drive at that point.

As much as I like to mod **** and push the envelope, this truck stands out to me as pretty much being done. I mean that in a good way and the basis for my comment is that you are a jacked up 4x4 extended cab daily driver truck on 32" tires. Lets face it, this is not a drag truck and I'd hate to see you ruin it by an endless pursuit of going faster.

I think what I'm trying to say is that you're pretty much at the point now that the truck, as a package deal, would enter a cycle of deterioration......and for what???? a little quicker et or a few more mph? It is bad *** the way it is, and to start taking away what it is for the sole purpose of a better time slip was never the intention (I assume). If your intentions where more focused on time slips, it wouldn't have 32's on it, be jacked up, etc.

Does that make sense?

Blown06 - yeah man l totally agree

Vortec350ss - I understand the mods your suggesting but for right now I'm going to keep what I have.

But we all know the mods never end, so I'll end up changing something someday. Lol

It's a stock 80E converter from a 6.0 truck. The only thing Circle D did to it was put in a billet apply piston for the clutch.

It's hard for me to argue with that! I wouldn't want to screw it up either. Well maybe a converter...

Wish you had a build thread. What you have right now is exactly what I want to do with my 6.2 denali. 11.5 with your tires and rims is awesome. My plan is custom grind cam for a procharger. Then find a used D1 or for the right price I would take a P1 just to get in the boost game and maybe do a CTS-V or ZL1 convertor.

Look like I need to get rid of my 3.73's too.
