I don't. I always separate all motor from supercharged, turbocharged, and nitrous vehicles.

One would think but nope. Wide lobe seperation (numerically higher) bleeds off cylinder pressure. That is why I went with a custom ground with mine. I was just going to get a off the shelf comp xer 224/230 114 but my DCR would have been over 9:1 and went with the 226/230 116 to bring it down to 8.8. I'm glad I did because i'm haveing a couple little knock issues here and there and it wouldn't be as reliable or streetable if they were worse, or i'd have to cut timing and add fuel so much in places that the high compression would be a waste.

Which usually comes from tighter LSA's.

Mark, could you post your cam specs in another thread and explain how decreasing overlap/widening the LSA gave you a lower DCR? I must be brain farting or something, because I can't wrap my head around it.

along with large amounts of duration

duration and lsa= overlap

this is why large cams with tight lsa have large amounts of overlap and loss of power down low since DCR is low

Yeah, that's what I've always heard, but I must just be misunderstanding him.
