Default new best n/a

ran my new setup last night. traction sucked to say the least.

first run was a 9.99 at 76 mph with a 2.6 60' sideways most of the track. it looked cool though.

only made one more pass.. did a good burnout, left at idle.. eased into throttle, after about 20-30 feet i nailed it.. fishtailed a bit, then a little slide on the 1-2 shift... and hooked after it was in second. ended up running 8.42 at 79 that pass with a 2.3 60'

next mod= DOT tires. my poor steet tires got killed last night. surprisingly, the 4.8 hooked amazing at the track with these same tires.. something about another 100 ft/lbs of TQ makes them fry

oh, there was a new challenger srt-8 running.. hooking great, running all out, the best he pulled was 8.65 all night, said he paid right at $50K for it. too bad.
