A couple of us went to the local 1/8th mile... I got the truck drivable, tune is far from done, but I wanted to see what the new converter would do... BTW tuning for a 9.5" converter absolutely sucks!!!!!

Previous best was 2.33 60ft 9.4X at 77mph

New time was 2.0 60ft 8.9 @ 78mph...

so basically .5 seconds in the 8th is what i gained...

This was on regular street tires, full trim, spare, toneanu (sp) cover, etc... I am extremely happy!! The weird thing was the truck hooked, did not spin at all and I added back in some (35%) TQ management to keep the 1->2 shift from spinning, so in my case TQM actually helped!! I need to work on the tune cause my AFR was 11.9-12.0 the entire run...

Yeah, the little motor is doing OK, would love bigger cubes, but just don't have the time for the swap right now....


Hopefully this next mod will help out in the upper RPMs... If it doesn't at least it looks good...
