Nice times for 7.5#. I am running almost identical times up to the 1/8 on 9.5#. Did you change your heads/cam setup too?
I am also curious about the weight difference. Were you still running a 4L60 with the 370/T67 setup?

317 heads that have been cleaned up and gt2-3 cam. C.r on the 370 was about 7.9-1. On the 347 it is 9.5-1. The truck weighed more because I was to lazy to do any weight reduction. I was running an 80e on the old setup.

Motor was due to be replaced anyway. It had about 65k on it and the oil pressure was down to almost nothing. Can't shave the heads down enough to get a 7/10 increase in compression. Heads also need to have as thick of a deck as possible to keep them down when under boost. Easy to swap pistons when the engine is on the stand waiting to be installed also.
