I belive you......Thats a huge shot, and it was done in RGV with great DA. Prolly 11's in ~+1000 DA. Totally doable. And no, I am NOT a racist. lol

I would like to know what nitrous system you have? and what nitrous noid you are running?

Also since your interested in seeing someone else duplicate the results, how about a build thread or something to give us 5.3 guys something to compare to.

You definately have a good combo, have the heads been touched since you bought them?

Ill work on that. The heads are livernoise stage II i believe and they were milled .045. The nitrous is NX plate system i really like the solenoid design they use in this kit. That kit hits crazy hard.

 

Heads were worked again at my request,just a complete valve job but that's it

 

I've been looking for inspiration to try a 150 shot and keep getting shot down (no pun intended ) because of the stock bottom end. I have added K Tec bolts to the bottom of mine and I'm going to do the nitrous this spring and have fun until it breaks and THEN do the 1000 hp set up I've been talkin 'bout.

What the hell... at 67 yrs old and I might not last until the 1000 hp engine gets built so might as well go have all the fun I can while I can !

I think it needs to be said that your willingness to share your knowledge and current set up indicate that you have integrity. Take it from a geezer.... Nothing in life is more important.
