does it get raspy when driving? I've been thinking about going to shorter bullets to toughen up the sound of my s10 at idle, but this sounds damn nice to me.

No... I got about 5 runs but tranny was bouncing off the limiter. First pass I rolled out and it did good on the 1-2 shift but bounced off the limiter 3 times on the 2-3 shift. It ran a 7.21 @ 95 in 75+ degree air. That was a mid 1.6 sixty foot.

The rest of the passes it wouldn't go to second and doing crazy stuff. I found some tables off in HPT and adjusted the tune. That final pass I nailed it from idle and it snapped in first gear.....I coasted to the end and just got off the track. First time in 6 years I needed the trailer to get home.

But aren't you glad you had it! It kills me your's runs about what mine does in same conditions. Sometimes I wish I would have done a big cube aluminum motor instead of rebuilding the 370 and keeping the blower. You think you will be able to get in the 6's with good air once the tranny bugs are worked out?

just loud, not raspy. Deep sound like cutouts open

I think it will just nick a 6 if i go to SGMP for a good sixty foot in good air. It feels strong but different than old cam. I may need a 4000 stall
