Default My x-cab 6.0 new PB

Been waiting on the cool weather and a day off to try at a new PB. Previously I've ran a best of 1.90 60', 8.74 @ 79 in 90° heat. Yesterday I went out and found some more power with this cool weather. Ran a best of 1.82 60', 8.52 @ 80!... This was with the trans shifting into third because it wasnt tuned for the shorter drag radials. If I coulda held second and not lay over I'm sure it woulda ran even better. I'm very happy with the results considering the truck is a pig and is rocking a stock lq4. Mods are in sig.

EVIL Flat Black 2001 X-Cab, stock LQ4, stock 60e, G80, 4.10 gears, Midwest 3200, Vette Servo, Traction Bars, E-Fans, CAI, HP Tuners, OBX Stainless Longtubes, 3" O/R Y , Magnaflow, 1/8th - 8.52 @ 80

You say mods are in your sig!?! Does that mean you are compleatly stock? You don't have a sig.

Nice times.

They are modified cheap old style traction bars like you get from summit. Remember I have the second leaf out of my rear springs...Adding these ELIMINATED wheel hop and Its leaving awesome now.

You can see because the axle is under the leaf this is why they couldnt be used like they come. All we did was weld a piece in to cup the axle and use longer U Bolts.
