I tried flashing it, stalling to 1200 RPM, stalling to 1800 RPM and stalling to 2200 RPM. 2200 RPM has yielded my best 60' and ET. This was on 26" M/T ET Streets on 16" rims. I need to go bigger, lol.

I've raced alot of different setups in trucks and cars. I've found that if you have a high enough stall you will get roughly the same 60' from going off idle as you will from pre-loading. Going off idle tends to get a better trap speed though. Pre-loading is only good if your suspension works with that (alot of power applied before weight transfer happens). If you're a bit low on converter stall, pre-loading works out well.

every truck/setup is different. play with your launch technique and pay attention to what method YOUR truck responds to best.

^^ +1

You will want to try a few different techniques and find the one which works best and that you are comfortable with. I leave off 1500rpms myself.

I launch with the trans-brake @ 3400 RPM in 4WD. Best 60' to date was a 1.43

I raise rpm's to around 11-1300 and flash the converter. That has netted me the best 60ft. Loading up on the conveter doesnt work as well with my truck.

Mine works best stalling it up to around 1000rpm and flashing it (4k converter).
