Well all in all it was a great day. i got my TB down to 4055 race weight, and i was cutting good lights all day long (.040's) but the weather was horible. It was like 92 with 80% humidity, the track was greasy and there was a head wind. My best pass today was a 16.381 @87. I know there are some out there than probably don't believe my time in my sig. but the day i ran that, it was 48 with no wind or humidity. (and as soon as i can scan it i will to prove)s So for hot weather i gues today was good. i also entered in the bracket race, but broke out first round. I even lifted @ the 1000'. I should have won, i cut a great light on the dude (me .043 him .287) so i had him. But like i said even after i lifted i still ran a tenth faster than my dial in.
My buddies GTO broke into the 11's with a 11.46 run. A bad *** run considering it is a 6 speed car. Another buddy of mine ran a personal best in his 4.3 L. s-blazer. And my other buddy found out he can yank the tires on his mustang. so for every one else it was great day. mine was just good.
