I've got some 28x10x16 Hoosiers on 16x10 rims they could be had for the right price.
the 80E is still sucking the life out of that thing out of the hole I'd be willing to put money on it. At least to the 330' mark, then youre in the upper RPM and youre off. I'd be curious to see what you'd do with better tuning, exhaust, and a decent cam.

I just did some basic calculations based on my 60' decrease and subsequent 1/4 time decrease and estimate I would be around a 13.4 on slicks as the truck sits now. Getting rid of the stock catback, and adding the cam and slicks I see no reason what soever this thing shouldn't be solidly in the 12s. But as you say, things don't always work out as they do on paper.
I was just looking over my log too, and saw on that last run I had set up the 1-2 shift at 6200 (versus 6000 for the 1st 2 runs) and it only shifted at 6050 rpm. I bet I would have run faster if it did go up to 6200. From 6000 it drops to 4700 on the 1-2.

Didn't u say earlier that the tune was crude, just to later say there isn't that much left in it?
