I hope so! Even just with the wheels I'll be dropping ~10lbs per corner, plus the lighter smaller diameter (and stickier) tires.
Hopefully with next year's fall air and the small tweaks to come I'll be able to get into the 12s. I'd definitely be proud of getting this truck into the 12s with a 6.0 that's never had the heads off, and on street tires.
I'm getting a bit ahead of myself, though.

Dan your truck is running.. Our setup or close to the same & you got a couple extra pounds. I don't know much about DA, but it's making yours go. Congrats on the new PB & keep them coming..

Great times man! Your truck definitely has a good combination of parts.
I bet if you limited front suspension down travel and rear end squat, you would get a little better launch(at least in theory, lol).

And that's a good point with the suspension. Maybe over winter break when I do the hangers in the rear I'll try to work some sort of limiting straps/chains out for the front end. I should be good with traction with the new tires, but if I can minimize the weight transfer, that'll be more energy going towards moving the truck forward, instead of flopping all around on the line.
