The starting time for the Test-and-Tune session on Saturday, November 1st at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Illinois, has been revised.

With the morning low temperature forcasted to be under 45 degrees, new GIR Drag Racing Manager Rich Schaefer has scheduled gates to open at 9 AM with racing to begin at 10 AM to allow the track to absorb a bit more heat after the track has been prepared. Most drag racing traction compounds offer little adhesion when applied at temperatures under 50 degrees.

The event is open to all vehicles and racing will still continue until 4 PM. Presuming the weather conditions are similar, it's likely the same schedule will be followed for the final Test-and-Tune session on Saturday, November 15th.
