What will it take to get my rcsb 4.8 4l60e into the mid 13's to low 13 or possibly a high 12? I really want to get it that way soon so as much help as possible will be greatly appreciated.

 

STS, 48lb injectors, custom tune, cam.

Or you could do a forged lowerend, LS1 heads (p&p'd), matching cam and other engine **** for about $2100.00. Then get the sts, injectors and a tune and run 11's

 

Didnt want to go turbo but what kinda hp does that kit make? there websit doesnt say

 

It always varies from application and boost level your running, but I saw one dyno video where a guy made 150/150 on a low setting PSI. Dont remember what psi though =(

150 shot will get it done

 

to get mid 13s you have to have either a turbo, or n20, or maybe a centrifugal superhcharger

but no way on motor, especially in the 12s

the cheapest and easiest way IMO is a 100-150shot

 

4.10s, tune, tires, progressive 150...40%-100% 2 sec build time coming on at about 1800 rpm (right before stock converter) then it will flash a lot higher around 2500 due to all the extra torque from the spray and if the tires hook with the 4.10s in the rear you will be looking at a low 13 or high 12 like you want.
