I have a built 4L60 and have been pounding the thing for the last to years with no issues. I have gone down the track 100's of times and the tranny still shifts like it was new. When they built it they installed a tranny cooler then later when I put the 408 in I also put in a 2600 Edge converter. I run 1.8's consistency and have gone 1.7's. My best 1/8 mile is a 8.2 and my best 1/4 mile is 13.3.

The last time I spoke to FLT I was told that their tranny can handle about 550 rwhp in our trucks and more in the Vette's since they are lighter. I will be testing that soon as I am currently at 300 rwhp and when I finish with the turbo(15 PSI) I hope to be around 600 rwhp. I did not get the upgraded output/input shafts though so hope it doesn't let go and take a bunch of other stuff with it.

I'm still running the stock 60e with servo only and I'm about to hit 100k miles. Haven't been to the track, but constant WOT runs on the street and towing every now and then definetely have put it to the test.
