There a person at my school that has a 05 mustang GT (standerd trany). A whole lot of people want me to race him because he thinks he's really cocky wanna be racer. And for what I know he is stock. Do yall think I can take him in his GT? All my mods are on my sig.

 

The 4.6 is a shitty shitty motor it doesnt mod well and doesnt run for ****. With the times in your sig it should be close, I think you can beat him. Honestly Id find a bottle in a bag spray it before the maf and after 3k rpms. Make sure to bet some money and have someone taping then hand him his ***.

I hate those cars, Id race him in a heartbeat.

 

I doubt it man.Unless he can't drive the car which is very possible then you may win.But the new Mustangs are not that slow really.The older ones were nothing great and these are not badass but they do tend to run a mid-high 13 more often then not.
It will be a good race ethier way.

 

You can do it! Make it a 1000ft race He'll get you out of the hole and will catch you at the end of a quarter but at a 1000ft your a shoe in. Unless he can't drive. I've got a time slip to back up my theory. The one I raced at the track had a 1.9 60ft and a hit 98mph in the quarter. He might have sprayed it I don't know.

 

It's not about the car, it's about the driver man. I think you can do it. just cut good lights and stay somewhat consistant. unless this is street racing, then you might be able to get him out of the hole, but he'll probally catch up really quick.

 

Get some tires that will hook and it's a done deal.

if he is stock and taking your posted times in to consideration, you can take him in a "fair" race

 

screw fair, theres no way in hell to have a fair "street race", go with the nos buddy
