Hey I am racing against a New Hemi QC daytona this weekend and wanted to know what they run in the 1/4 and what sets them apart from a regular Hemi.

 

Looks, that's all that sets em apart. I believe all Daytona's are 4x4's, so I am gonna say a 15.4 stock is the best it will be able to do, and that's if the guy is familer with launching. I friend with a stock QC 4x4 ram, ran a 15.7 at my local track (subtract .3 to .4 to get a sea level elevation) If he's got mods then who knows but I doubt he'll do a 14.48 unless he's running NoS, or has Cam/Head work.

 

The Daytona has a stock Borla dual exhaust. Good for 5hp. They come in 2WD and 4WD, standard cab and quad. The fastest I heard a 2WD standard cab go was 13.8 NA. The truck had a custom cold air, ram air intake with SuperChips.

 

daytona is mostly an appearence package with borla exhaust. wasted 2 scsb hemis tonight by about 5 lengths. one was a daytona and one was a scsb hemi. the launch is where its at i think youll win but you never know what some are tucking inside of their sleeves.

 

is your time on the spray? I'm assuming so from what's in your sig. If so, you will take a stock one. But find out it's mods before bettin $$.
