my main problem in doing a burn out at the track was getting both tires to spin. factory g80 wasn't doing it's job. so i had to feather into the peddle. i would rev it up and the truck would start bouncing. now i have an eaton so things will be different.

You do know the Eaton Locker is option code G80 Locking Differential on GM light trucks and SUV's, right?
Anyway, (and more importantly) I'm not sure "things will be different" for you, unless you also added something to stop wheel hop. In fact, I'm pretty sure it won't help much. Get yourself a set of Caltracs, or something along those lines. I think, you'll be happy you did.

the g80 isn't the same as the eaton differential he's talking about

I figured that.
I was just being a smartass. Of course, the Eaton Locker is a G80. But, I'm sure he got an Eaton LSD.

yea the g80 eaton doesn't compare to the real eaton unit. i can tell traction has improved with the addition of that and another suspension mod. even my street tires are catching traction faster. i'm not blowing past the 25mph limit the g80 has. or whatever mph it lets go to the one wheel peel. i just ordered the 28" et streets. i hope they do better than the 26's.
