My problem stemmed form the computer sensing "abuse" and it would drop timing to the point I couldnt continue the burnout. Even using the water box only helped marginally and I could only get about a 4sec burnout which wasnt enough to get my particular DRs sticky but was enough for the C5 since I was nearly stock. The same rim/tire on my T/A didnt need water and never seemed like it had an issue spinning em, especially with a 4400 stall, 3:73s and plenty of power. *shrug*

Winding out a short gear in 1st gear isnt spinning quick enough IMO. I really had to get the BFG DR's hot for them to work 100%.
Iw as running 4.10's iwth the 3.06:1 1st gear for a 12.4:1 final drive ratio with the 28" 325/50/15 DR's. The truck runs 2.0 60ft's on the 2500rpm S-10 stall converter.
